Merry Christmas - You Are The Light Of The World

We are just a few hours from Christmas Day and I was thinking about you.

I was thinking about how the light of the star of Bethlehem led shepherds and wise men to Jesus. I was thinking about how Jesus came to be the light of the world.

And, then I began thinking about Christmas 2020 and the darkness that has shrouded over this particular season to the point where some have not put out Christmas lights as they have done in the past.

It appears that some of the light has gone out in the world.

But, then, on this Christmas Eve 2020, I remembered that Jesus said that you and I are, like Jesus, supposed to be light.

Beloved, no matter how dark the world and the conditions of the world may seem to be, may you dare to try to make Christmas 2020 be the merriest of Christmases because, contrary to popular notion, the light has not gone out in the world and darkness is not prevailing.

You see, because of you, the Body of Christ, darkness will never win. It cannot and it will not because you are a part of the light that God has sent into the world to reclaim it from the darkness.

So, you be the light that you desire because of the light that you are and may you celebrate Christ, in a few hours, because, in a few hours, it will be Christmas Day, the day when the light of the world came into the world so that you too can be a light in this world.

So, let your light shine and may you have a Merry Christmas!!!

And, remember God loves you enough to give you Christ so that you can celebrate Christmas and I love you enough to remind you of this great truth!
