Grace And Peace Is Yours...If

Beloved,

I missed being with you on Sunday and I did participate in worship with you virtually. I am thankful for the leadership in presiding provided by Deacon James Grace, Jr. and the word of God preached by Reverend Rhon Hammond. God is always providing what we need in the various times and seasons of life that we go through.

And, in that provision of God, I think that two words come to mind that we all desire, grace and peace. We know grace as being the unmerited favor of God. Who does not want to be favored by the God who created all that we know by speaking words and can give us all that we need as an echo of His spoken word?

There is no shame in my game, I want more grace.

And, in getting more grace, what is the companion so that we can experience immense, overwhelming, unspeakable joy while we are receiving the favor of God? It is peace. Beloved, peace does not make the storm go away. Peace helps you to continue to hold on and hold out while the storm is going on.

I do not want one or the other, grace or peace. I want them both. And, God wants you to have both.

But, you cannot find and acquire grace and peace on Amazon, at WalMart, at Target, on vacation, in isolation.

You have got to go to the source. You have got to go to God. You have got to bring something to God to get something from God. You have got to have faith. And, in Jesus Christ, all the faith that you will need is found.

2 Peter 1:1-2 explains, "To those who have received a faith as precious as ours through the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ; May grace and peace be yours in abundance in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord."

See. Grace and peace are already yours. To unlock and receive both from God, you must have faith in God through Jesus Christ as guided by the Holy Spirit.

At Calvary's cross, Jesus put grace and peace on sale. He paid the price so that you would get the bargain. He settled your sin account so that you could receive the righteousness of God. And, He does not want you to have a little bit of grace and peace. He came so that you can and will have the abundant life. How? Through faith in Him.

Grace and peace are yours...if you will believe and have faith!

Get yours today. He has plenty for all.

We will be getting our grace and peace today at Noonday prayer. You know you need some. Get yours!

We will be getting our grace and peace on our sermonic broadcast on The Light radio/internet connection. You know you need some. Get yours!

And, we will be getting our grace and peace on Sunday morning at worship service at 11am. You know you need some. Get yours!

And, while you are getting your grace and peace, remember that God loves you and I love you too!

Be blessed,

Rev. Cain
