Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
My beloved church family,
What a wonderful day we have had. I am so thankful for your acts of love today for Treimar, Charlene Alexander's grandson, in him preparing to head back to Baltimore tomorrow with his mother, Kim. What a joy it was to see so many of you this afternoon where we practiced our social distancing (sort of) and let no distance be felt between our love for Treimar. As he told us, he was not going to say goodbye, just see you later. We look forward to seeing you again soon, Treimar.
Beloved, it did my heart so much good to see those who I love so much.
And then, and then, and then, the Pastor's Aide Ministry organized a drive by (the good kind) at our home to celebrate my son Grant's graduation from Morehouse. I so wanted to be in Atlanta this weekend; but, I am so glad that, in God changing our plans, He gave us something else that will never be forgotten. Your showing up and showing out was such a wonderful gift to us in so many ways.
May God bless you all who came and those who may have wanted to come but could not make it. May God bless you Pastor Aide Ministry. May God bless you Zion Memorial.
I know that, because of you, I and my family are absolutely blessed.
I look forward to connecting with you tomorrow for worship service. The message will be "Graduation Day - Anointed And Appointed". You tune in and invite someone to join us.
Be blessed,
Rev. Cain
