No Condemnation In Christ

Beloved,

First, my hope and prayer is that you are safe, healthy, and blessed during this time. What we could have taken for granted, we can no longer do so. So, please make sure that you are aware, not obsessed, but aware of the proper ways for you to keep yourself safe and healthy and count yourself blessed as God builds a hedge around those who follow the wisdom that He is pouring into the world at this time.

As I was thinking about some of the suggestions that are basically requirements to keep yourself healthy during this time, I thought about how you are supposed to wash your hands for 20 seconds. Instead of counting for 20 seconds, the suggestion has been made to basically say your ABC's while washing your hands and then you will likely have covered the amount of time needed to be clean.

With ABC, I thought of it as an acronym for our walk in Christ.

A - Anointed

B - Blessed

C - Convicted

We are Anointed by the presence of the Holy Spirit when we are Blessed with salvation that comes when we fall under Conviction for our sins that lead to Repentance. I know. I know. I capitalized Repentance although it was not included in the original lettering. That is because it truly stands alone...at least in my opinion.

You see, you can say and know that you are Anointed, Blessed, and be Convicted; but, if you do not also have Repentance, then you may see yourself as Convicted but also Condemned.

You see, in our Christian walk, we need to be careful in how we see ourselves in the eyes of God.

Condemnation for sin is what Christ took from us when He went to the cross.

Conviction of sin without having to pay the price for those sins is what He gave us in exchange.

Repentance is how we thank Him for what He has done for us by choosing to see ourselves differently, think about our lives differently, feel differently about how we go through our lives, and then make different decisions that will reveal that we are truly Anointed, Blessed, and Convicted.

Romans 8:1 makes it plain and simple, "There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus."

If you were confused, cease to be so.

Condemnation leads to death with no hope of relief or release.

Conviction leads to Repentance that leads to the change of mind, heart, spirit, and life.

If you are in Christ, you are heaven-bound and are full of life and hope.

You have just got to realize who you are and whose you are.

No matter what comes against you, you are the living embodiment of hope and great expectation because hope was fulfilled on the cross and great expectation rose from the grave three days later.

When Christ got up, condemnation was released from any and all who believe in Him.

There is no condemnation in Christ; so, Christian, there is no condemnation in you.

Receive it and believe it.

So, what's next?

Stay connected with the body and keep growing into the fantastic, awesome, wonderful, unique, beautiful, handsome, zealous, marvelous, mighty, bold, and courageous child of God who God has called you into being since the day that you gave Him your life through Jesus the Christ as guided by the Holy Spirit.

I look forward to connecting to the miraculous you for the Noonday prayer call and HOPE Wednesday video/teleconference this evening. Share your fabulousness with others and invite them to connect with us as well.

And, remember, God loves you and I love you too!

Be blessed,

Rev. Cain
